When the Victory Bell rings Friday night at the Rose Bowl, it will mark the 77th Turkey Tussle between Pasadena High School and John Muir High School, a cherished rivalry that has united Pasadena since 1947. This year’s game, kicking off at 7 PM, brings families and neighborhoods together to cheer on generations of players. For Muir Coach Lance Mitchell and PHS Coach Ron Jones, the game goes beyond the field, inspiring students to excel in academics as they prepare for this special night.
