P.S. I recently made some changes to News N’ Roses’ network settings, which unfortunately caused some email deliverability issues. If you haven’t been receiving the newsletter over the past few weeks, don’t worry—I’ve still been publishing them! I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but the good news is that the issue should now be resolved.

THE DIGEST

Hail By Day, Quake By Night

You may have spotted dark clouds rolling over Pasadena yesterday afternoon, as sudden gusts of wind picked up. Then, out of nowhere, came the unmistakable sound of hard pebbles pelting rooftops—hail! Yes, it was hailing in Pasadena. It only lasted for a short time before it became rain but that was pretty cool to see.
Later that night, just as I was drifting off to sleep, I felt a sudden, hard jolt—a 2.7 magnitude earthquake! Pasadena really packed in the weather surprises yesterday.
