THE DIGEST

Arroyo Trail Restoration Nears Completion

The Arroyo Trail Restoration Project is nearing completion, with crews on track to finish by the end of November. Crews have been hard at work, grading trails for smooth strolls and runs, while adding Arroyo stone and rock armor to keep erosion at bay. The Upper Loop Trail and new bridge over Little Cottonwood Canyon Creek are now open, and equestrians are already loving the new steps at Devil's Gate Dam. This exciting work is all about preserving the Arroyo Seco’s beauty, so it can be enjoyed for years to come!

The Cruel World Festival is coming to Pasadena in May 17, 2025, bringing together legendary post-punk, new wave, and gothic rock acts at Brookside at the Rose Bowl. Featuring iconic artists like New Order, She Wants Revenge, Midge Ure, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and many more. Fans can look forward to a full day of live performances and an unforgettable experience. Tickets go on sale today (Friday) at 11 AM.

Lights, Camera, Action: starting today (Friday), the highly anticipated LightBox Expo returns to Pasadena, bringing together the world’s top artists, illustrators, and animators. Held at the Pasadena Convention Center, the three-day event will feature workshops, panels, and exhibitions, offering fans and professionals alike the chance to connect with creative talents from the entertainment industry. Attendees can expect an inspiring weekend filled with live art demonstrations, portfolio reviews, and opportunities to network with industry leaders.
