THE DIGEST
PCC Football Captures SCFA American Championship
The PCC Lancers wrapped up their perfect season (11-0) in style, defeating Chaffey 23-14 in the SCFA American Division Championship Bowl. Thatâs right, they didnât lose a single game, making them one of only five teams in the schoolâs history to achieve a perfect season.
The defense stole the show, delivering nine sacks, two interceptions, and a pair of blocked kicks that kept the crowd of 1,200 on their feet. Freshman linebacker and MVP Ethan Bowser had a game to remember, with nine tackles, two sacks, and even a blocked field goal for good measure. Local star Torriq Brumfield wasnât far behind, racking up 10 tackles and forcing a key turnover. Coach Robert Tucker called the teamâs consistency and focus "something special" as the Lancers joined PCCâs historic ranks of undefeated squads. With a season like this, the Lancers have officially cemented their place in the record booksâand in the hearts of Pasadena fans.
