THE DIGEST

🏳️‍🌈 Pasadena to Raise Pride Flag Today

Pasadena will raise the Pride Flag at City Hall today, at 12:30 p.m., marking the city’s fifth year of celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride Month. The event is part of Pasadena’s broader efforts to honor inclusivity and community—and to recognize the history rooted in the Stonewall Riots. More Pride Month resources will be shared by the City soon.

🚒 Fire Near Rose Bowl Snarls Traffic

On Saturday afternoon, a tree fire near California Blvd and Marengo Ave spread to an adjacent house, causing traffic delays for concertgoers headed to the Rose Bowl. Pasadena firefighters battled the stubborn blaze for about two hours. No injuries were reported, and the cause is under investigation.

🅿️ Pasadena Rolls Out Pay-By-Plate Parking

Pasadena has started installing pay-by-plate parking stations to modernize its meter technology. These new stations eliminate the need for paper permits—just enter your license plate and pay with card or coins.
