Election day is tomorrow, Pasadena! If you haven’t voted early or by mail you still have options. Drop boxes are available 24/7 until 8pm on November 5th. Pasadena City Clerk, Mark Jomsky noted the right ballot drop box locations below:

  • Allendale Branch Library, 1130 S. Marengo Ave.

  • Grant Park, 232 S. Michigan Ave.

  • Hastings Branch Library, 3325 E. Orange Grove Blvd.

  • Jackie Robinson Community Center (JRC), 1020 N. Fair Oaks Ave.

  •  Pasadena City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave.

  • Rose Bowl Stadium (near Lot I), Seco Street and Arroyo

  • La Cage aux Folles: Opens The Pasadena Playhouse newest musical. Beautiful. Bawdy. Bizarre. The hottest drag club in town and one of theater’s all-time biggest hits. Opens Nov. 12.

  • DooDah Parade: An annual, whimsical event celebrating creativity and humor with quirky floats, costumes, and lively participants. Established in the late 1970s, it serves as an unconventional alternative to the traditional Rose Parade, attracting large crowds each year. Nov. 24 at 11 AM.

CIVIL NEWS

Pasadena Offers Free Transit Services for Voters on Election Day

On Tuesday, November 5, Pasadena Transit and Dial-A-Ride will provide free rides from midnight to 11:59 p.m. to help voters reach polling locations without transportation costs. All routes, including the Downtown Pasadena Shuttle, will operate, covering areas such as Old Pasadena, the Civic Center, Pasadena Playhouse Village, and Caltech. Dial-A-Ride will also be free for seniors and individuals with disabilities. This initiative aligns with efforts across Los Angeles County, with Metro offering free bus, train, and bike share rides. Residents can plan their routes at PasadenaTransit.net.

Pasadena General Election 2024: City Ballot Measures

Pasadena voters will have the opportunity to decide on six important local measures on November 5, 2024, shaping the city’s future across several areas. Highlights include Measure PL, a bond measure for the Central Library, and Measure PR, a charter amendment proposal for rent control. Voters will also consider Measures PA, PB, and PC, which suggest amendments for election processes, mayoral roles, and term limits, along with Measure PF addressing the Fire and Police Retirement System. Each measure reflects key issues impacting Pasadena’s governance and community services.
