Time to break out the sunscreen—temps are soaring to 85°F today! It’s kind of unseasonably hot thanks to a high-pressure system parked over SoCal. Stay cool, hydrate, and maybe skip that noon hike. Big cooldown coming by Thursday, so we’ll be right back to Spring—don’t worry.

🎨 Pasadena Bead & Design Show – March 28–30 at the Convention Center

A creative treasure trove returns! The Pasadena Bead & Design Show is back at the Pasadena Convention Center this weekend, March 28–30. Originally postponed due to recent fires, the show is ready to welcome back artists, designers, and makers for a vibrant weekend of creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

With over 300 exhibits, discover a curated marketplace featuring artisan beads, gemstones, handcrafted jewelry, textiles, vintage finds, and rare materials from around the world—think tribal fabrics, lampwork beads, and antique embellishments. Whether you're a designer, collector, or just love beautiful things, there's inspiration around every corner.

Enjoy hands-on workshops and live demos led by skilled artisans, and connect with fellow creatives in a welcoming, art-filled atmosphere. Many vendors offer exclusive wholesale pricing, making this an ideal destination for both pros and passionate hobbyists.
